Job Summary
Sr Software Engineer - Knowledge Representation focusing on ontology creation and ML-driven knowledge architectures to support GHX’s AI strategy in Healthcare. Design, implement and curate ontologies and graphical data structures that interact with diverse data stores and AI solutions, including generative and rule-based systems. Lead scalable data architectures, integrate graph solutions with other data stores, leverage LLMs/GenAI for data I/O and curation, handle multimodal data (text, images, videos, tables, graphs, rules), and develop maintainable APIs and MCP-based services. Mentor junior engineers, collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into scalable solutions, and prioritize explainability and transparency across the knowledge representation stack.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years working as a software engineer or data scientist, 6 years with a Master’s degree.
- Expertise with one or more Graph query languages (SPARQL, Cypher, Gremlin) and the associated Graph Databases.
- Experience with Tabular (SQL), Document (NoSQL), and Vector/Semantic databases and their interactions with Graph DBs.
- Expertise with Python & SQL.
- Experience with AWS cloud resources (S3, EC2, ECS, Lambda).
- Experience with Docker or other container services.
- Specification and creation of APIs and microservices.
