Job Summary
Design, develop, test, and deploy software systems for scientific and engineering applications while defining requirements and obtaining customer approval. Implement Agile development tools to manage work, create prototypes, and resolve discrepancies against documented standards. Lead junior engineers and support on-site meetings and deliveries to customers across the Intelligence Community Ground Enterprise Directorate. Generate program design language, update product baselines, and improve performance metrics through critical planning and execution of development tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline
- DoD 8570 Certification for IAT Level II or higher: (CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, CCNA OR SSCP)
- 10+ years of experience in software development, object-oriented design, architecture, coding, and testing, with substantial experience implementing DevOps practices including CI/CD automation, containerization, orchestration, configuration management, security, and cloud technologies
- Experience with Web Services and JavaScript (e.g., ReactJS)
- Container based application development experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve customer and company goals
- Supervisory experience for a team of engineers
- Hands-on experience with Java, C/C++, and/or Python
Desired Qualifications
- Master's of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- Experience with Postgres and MySQL, MongoDB
- Experience with AWS and Azure
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with Fortify, CodeDx, Trellix
- Familiarity with Agile and/or DevSecOps procedures
- Contractor Product Owner (with >10 years of experience in software management and managing a backlog of requirements)
- Experience with Neural Networks/Machine Learning
