Job Summary
Develop Java/Spring applications and RESTful services within AWS, leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka. Implement automated tests, manage Git workflows, and design SQL solutions while maintaining proficiency in XML, JSON, and YAML. Collaborate with internal and external customers to deliver payment and risk solutions for financial institutions. Requires 5+ years of Java experience, proficiency in Spring Boot, and familiarity with DevOps practices. Based in Scottsdale, San Francisco, Chicago, or New York with a hybrid model.
Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Science Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years direct experience in Software Engineering or related experience in Java development
- Proficient with Git source control and Git flow branching model
- Spring / Spring boot framework
- Familiarity writing automated tests
- Proficient with SQL
- Proficient in RESTful service design
- Experience with Docker/ Kubernetes
- Experience with Kafka
- Excellent written and spoken communication
- Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently
- Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers
- Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers
- E-Verify
Desired Qualifications
- Payments or Ecommerce experience
- Recent AWS Cloud experience
- Experience with Rest/SOAP services
- Familiar working with common data format standards like XML, JSON, YAML, etc
- NoSQL experience (Redis, HBASE, AeroSpike, etc)
- FinTech experience is highly beneficial
