Job Summary
Senior software engineer focused on manufacturing automation who designs, develops, maintains, and improves MES integration with manufacturing equipment. Responsible for creating and sustaining reports that provide operational insights for equipment, process, and product improvement, ensuring regulatory and quality system compliance, and leading cross-functional collaboration to optimize automation solutions. Requires experience with Java or .NET, MES (Camstar) integration, SECS/GEM, OPC, TCP/IP, and a strong understanding of software development life cycle and SCRUM. Knowledge of medical industry validation, FDA cGMP, ISO standards is advantageous. The role emphasizes automation, data integrity, and manufacturing process optimization through MES integration and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related degree in Computing or Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in software development, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Experience in developing and maintaining software using Java or .NET programming languages
- Experience with MES systems, especially Camstar, is a plus
- Familiarity with SECS/GEM, OPC, TCP/IP and Modbus TCP protocol
- Knowledge of Software Life Cycle Management
- Experience with SCRUM framework is beneficial
- Knowledge/experience on validation principles for medical industry would be advantages
- Experience with FDA cGMP, ISO and other quality systems for medical product development would be advantages
