Job Summary
Senior backend software engineer to design and develop services for DoubleVerify’s billing products, collaborate with product managers to establish requirements, implement observability and deploy features via Infra-As-Code, and troubleshoot production incidents. Requires 6+ years of backend software engineering experience and proficiency in C#, Java, or Python, with strong Docker/Kubernetes, Kafka, MongoDB, and MS SQLServer expertise. The role is full-time in NYC with a hybrid work model (office + remote) and involves mentoring engineers, code reviews, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years backend software engineering experience
- Proficiency in C#, Java, or Python
- Experience with SDLC best practices
- Mentoring junior engineers
- Collaboration with non-technical and cross-departmental stakeholders
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD (e.g. Gitlab CI/CD, Terraform, Vault)
- Strong experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g. MS SQL Server, MongoDB)
- Strong experience with Docker/Kubernetes and Kafka
- Familiarity with AdTech is a plus
