Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer I will design, develop, and maintain complex software solutions, taking a lead role in architecture and implementation to meet business objectives. You will write clean, efficient code, develop new features and modules, and collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical specifications. You will provide technical guidance and mentorship, participate in code reviews to ensure quality, stay current with industry trends, and contribute to system architecture decisions balancing performance, scalability, maintainability, and security. You will diagnose and resolve complex issues, optimize performance, and propose long-term improvements, while effectively communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tooling adoption, and engineering best practices, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in Java, Python, C++, or similar languages
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices
- Experience with Agile and DevOps
- Knowledge of web technologies, APIs, databases, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior engineers
- Desire to stay updated with emerging technologies and improve
