Job Summary
Design, develop, and test improvements or new features into the Waystar website and core processing applications while adhering to coding standards. Propose technical solutions, create SQL table and stored procedure designs, and refactor existing code to optimize performance. Execute unit tests, track development changes via internal tools, and communicate daily progress to senior team members. Solve complex technical problems with little oversight, mentor fellow engineers, and assist in the QA process and production code turn deployments. Collaborate with business and technology owners to ensure solutions meet requirements and reassign blocked items as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of .NET and SQL Server experience
- Unit Testing experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment & welcome change
- Highly self-motivated
- Ability to work both in team and solo environments
- Experience building highly scalable software solutions
- Subject Matter Expertise in at least one technical track
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
Desired Qualifications
- N-Tier and SaaS development experience is preferred
