Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer at HMH Labs (Writable platform) responsible for feature development and maintenance across the full software development life cycle. You will contribute as a full-stack producer with opportunities to learn and apply new skills, collaborating with senior leaders and classroom success personnel. The role uses a mix of front-end and back-end technologies (HTML5, ASP.NET MVC, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Angular, React, Java) within an EdTech context to support a digital practice and feedback platform for grades 3-12. The position is remote with working hours aligned to US time zones (UTC -5/-8). You will report to an SVP and engage with engineers, subject matter experts, and classroom success teams to deliver high-quality software and improve educator and student outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree preferred
- Prior experience as a senior level developer/engineer
- Full-stack development experience
- Able to work remotely
- Working hours aligned with US time zones (UTC -5/-8)
- Self-motivated with ability to take direction, seek input, and work independently
