Job Summary
Sr. Software Engineer, High Performance Computing for SpaceX Starlink program. Develop highly reliable real-time software to determine beam formation for a low-latency, high-bandwidth satellite-based global network; participate in architecture, design, and code reviews; develop prototypes and experiments to prove key concepts; build tools for software development, deployment, data analysis, visualization, and test execution across multiple environments including virtualized hardware, real hardware-in-the-loop simulations, and on-orbit testing; requires strong C/C++/assembly, real-time systems experience, and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or STEM discipline and 5+ years of professional software development experience; OR 7+ years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree.
- Development experience in assembly, C, or C++.
Additional Requirements
- ITAR requirements: U.S. citizen or national, or U.S. lawful permanent resident, or refugee/asylee, or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
