Job Summary
Sr. Software Engineer (Forward Deployed Engineer) responsible for data and AI development to build impactful software solutions. Lead design and architecture of major systems to ensure scalability, reliability, and alignment with business needs. Partner with WellSky teammates and business leaders to identify efficiencies using AI, drive solution reviews, provide technical guidance to engineers, and promote AI awareness. Design data pipelines to centralize operational data for informed decision-making, implement automated tests, and explore new technologies and AI capabilities to improve team efficiency and software performance. Requires collaboration across teams, willingness to work irregular hours, and compliance with security policies. Healthcare domain experience and proficiency in Python for data pipelines are desired; familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and generative AI systems is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
- At least 4-6 years relevant work experience
- Proficient in liaising with business stakeholders to gain comprehensive insights into business processes and develop tailored data and AI solutions
- Capable of learning and implementing new technologies for deployment at an enterprise scale
- Ability to build data pipelines using Python and other data ingestion tools
