Job Summary
Develop highly reliable autonomous software systems and simulations for Starship flight; own all aspects of software development from design to integration; collaborate with cross-domain teams to enable control of pad, ship, and booster to meet mission objectives; continuously improve software engineering standards within Starship Software; requires strong proficiency in C++, Python, or Rust; experience with real-time embedded or distributed systems is preferred; willingness to work long hours and weekends as needed; ITAR/compliance and SpaceX employee benefits included.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or science discipline and 4+ years of software development experience; OR 6+ years of software development experience in lieu of a degree
- 4+ years of experience in C++, Python, or Rust
