Job Summary
Design and implement reliable, high-throughput, low latency, scalable code to tackle sophisticated algorithms while collaborating with engineers and product owners to propose extensible, reusable solutions. Proactively seek opportunities to reuse existing services, experiment with new technologies, and conduct rigorous code reviews. Troubleshoot issues in lower and production environments, write unit tests, and monitor application quality. Estimate effort for assigned tasks and assist in estimating levels for less senior developers. This role requires 5+ years of full-stack experience in Java, Spring, and microservices, with a focus on building cloud-native applications in Orlando, FL.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ Years of software engineering, analysis and design with full software development lifecycle experience
- Java
- Spring Framework
- SQL (AroraDB)
- NoSQL-based databases (MongoDB)
- writing complex SQL queries
- building highly scalable and highly performant distributed applications and web services
- Exposure to GraphQL / Graph DBs
- 5+ years Internet technologies, microservices architectures experience
- Developing cloud native applications, preferably in AWS experience
- Experience with scripting languages like JavaScript and frameworks such as Angular (8.2.13)/ ReactJS
- Experience with Docker / Kubernetes
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming with an understanding of design principles
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or similar field or related equivalent experience
