Job Summary
Partner with the software team to design, build, and execute cloud and edge infrastructure required to reliably deliver new features and meet business requirements. Maintain and optimize the growing fleet of on-site Ubuntu edge servers using AWS ECS Anywhere, Terraform, and Ansible to ensure they stay secure, stable, and up to date. Support and evolve the server provisioning pipeline, ensuring seamless Linux imaging and application stack deployment. Enhance and streamline CI/CD pipelines across software teams for efficient testing and deployment workflows. Act as a collaborative technical resource to debug complex network and application issues, while designing and maintaining developer tooling to empower high development velocity. This role requires a minimum of 3 days a week in the office in Charlestown, MA, with a salary range of $176,000–$183,500.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or a related technical field)
- 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or Systems Engineering, with a strong track record of supporting production environments
- Deep fluency in Linux systems paired with robust experience managing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
- Strong scripting capabilities (Bash, Python, etc) and knowledge of containerization (Docker)
- Excellent systems-level and network troubleshooting skills, with the ability to isolate, recreate, and resolve tricky issues across networks or complex software applications
- A mindset for continuous improvement, the ability to teach, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- This role requires a minimum of 3 days a week in the office
