Job Summary
Senior SFCC Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain our enterprise e-commerce platform. Focus on server-side architecture, API integrations, data modeling, and core commerce functionality to ensure a scalable, high-performing, and secure shopping experience. Core development includes server-side logic with SFCC Script (JavaScript/ECMAScript) and SFRA, system integration with ERP/CRM/OMS and payment/shipping providers, API management via REST/SOAP and OCAPI/SCAPI, performance tuning, data jobs, and maintaining code quality through reviews, unit tests, and documentation. Requires 3+ years SFCC development, Bachelor's degree in a related field, and SFCC backend expertise.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of dedicated SFCC development experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- SFCC Backend development experience with SFCC / Demandware, SFRA and Controllers
- Experience with server-side JavaScript, HTML, XML, JSON
- Knowledge of REST, SOAP, OAuth, JWT
- Experience with Git, Webpack, Gulp, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience creating and consuming APIs (OCAPI, SCAPI)
- Understanding of data modeling and transactional e-commerce workflows
- Code reviews, unit testing, and technical documentation
- SFCC Certified B2C Commerce Developer credential is highly preferred
