Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer to join CrowdStrike's Real-Time Streaming Platform team. Design, develop, and maintain streaming microservices in Java and Go; build and optimize Apache Flink and Apache Spark data pipelines on Kubernetes; design event-driven systems leveraging Kafka; own initiatives across AWS, GCP, OCI, and on-prem; develop RESTful APIs and SDKs for internal teams; collaborate with platform consumers, SREs, and engineers to deliver scalable solutions; improve platform performance, reliability, and developer experience; implement comprehensive testing, monitoring, and chaos engineering; contribute to runbooks and documentation; 8+ years of software engineering, strong distributed-systems and streaming concepts, proficiency in Java, Python and/or Go, experience with Kafka or similar messaging, containerization and Kubernetes, ability to translate requirements into technical solutions, ownership mindset; bonus points for multi-cloud, data serialization, observability tools, and CI/CD/GitOps practices.

- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
