Job Summary
Resolve prioritized tasks within the complete software development lifecycle, taking ownership of delivering enhancements and breaking down sizable units for execution. Collaborate with engineers and leadership to create technical designs, ensure Scrum event compliance, and resolve development obstacles while maintaining Agile best practices. Architect and deliver complex software systems into production using Python, Java, JavaScript, and SQL/Postgres, incorporating GEOINT domain understanding for system validation. This role requires US citizenship with ACTIVE TS/SCI clearance and 8-12 years of experience. The team focuses on building solutions where requirements are not clearly defined but always prioritize customer needs.
Required Qualifications
- US citizenship
- ACTIVE TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience
- Master's with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience working as a Scrum Master for a software development or similar technical team
- Strong proficiency with Django
- Strong proficiency with JQuery
- Strong proficiency with Ajax
- Strong proficiency with REST APIs
- Strong proficiency with Python
- Strong proficiency with Java
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript
- Strong proficiency with SQL/Postgres
- Strong proficiency with Windows
- Strong proficiency with Linux
- Strong proficiency with Git
- Strong proficiency with GitLab
- Experience incorporating GEOINT domain understanding when troubleshooting, optimizing, and validating system behavior and data outputs across environments
- Deep understanding of modern software design patterns and coding standards
- Experience architecting, developing, and delivering complex software systems into production
- Working knowledge of Agile development and continuous integration/continuous delivery methodologies and tools
- Strong, self-motivated desire to learn new programming languages, tools, frameworks, and techniques
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with scripting languages such as REACT
- Software Architectures: Client-Server, Model-View-Controller
- Multi-cloud architectures: AWS, IBM, Google, Azure, and Oracle
- Specific AWS Services: S3, SQS, SNS, EC2, CloudFormation and RDS
- Certifications such as AWS DevOps Engineer or similar
