Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable full-stack applications for a federal GRC platform; implement modern architectures and reusable components; apply secure coding practices to ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements; integrate security controls into the development lifecycle in a DevSecOps context; participate in Agile teams with sprint planning and backlog refinement; develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests, security scanning, and deployments; collaborate with system engineers, architects, and cybersecurity teams to meet RMF and FISMA requirements; support data source and API integration for enhanced reporting and usability; perform code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting in production; contribute to modernization efforts and production sustainment; travel up to 10% and hold or obtain Top Secret clearance; US citizenship required; active TS preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- 8+ years of overall work experience
- Experience in software development including full-stack application development in enterprise environments
- Experience supporting federal IT systems, preferably in cybersecurity, GRC, or compliance-driven environments
- Hands-on experience with full-stack development (front-end frameworks and back-end services)
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices and application security principles (e.g., OWASP Top 10)
- Experience implementing DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and security integration
- Familiarity with application security tools such as static and dynamic code analysis and vulnerability scanning
- Experience working in Agile development environments, including participation in sprint ceremonies and iterative delivery
- Ability to support applications operating in production environments, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and incident resolution
- Experience integrating applications with enterprise systems, APIs, and data platforms
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance; US citizenship required
- Candidates with an ACTIVE Top Secret clearance preferred
- US Citizenship is contractually required
