Job Summary
Senior-level Sr Silicon Photonics Integration Engineer responsible for ownership of the 45nm Silicon Photonics technology product ramp from development to mature technology. Lead for definition of improvement experiments and hardware disposition; develop/qualify silicon photonics process flows and process integrations to meet performance, reliability and defect-free manufacturing requirements. Detect line issues via data analysis and drive containment and resolution to protect yield and delivery. Collaborate with device/process modules to drive development of new production technologies and drive cost reductions through line/test yield improvements and efficiency gains. Ensure product route synchronization with baseline technology and maintain active customer engagement through status reporting and milestones. Maintain safe working practices and support EH&S requirements. Preferred qualifications include prior related internship or leadership experience, project management skills, and strong written/verbal communication.
Required Qualifications
- Education – Graduating with Masters and/or PhD with desired major of technology-related degree: Photonics, Optics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Microsystems, Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or other related engineering physical science disciplines. Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.
