Job Summary
Own the full lifecycle of expedited and priority orders from allocation through shipment, serving as the primary escalation point for Account Managers on urgent requests. Proactively communicate order status, risks, and resolutions in real time while prioritizing workload to meet critical deadlines. Oversee picking, packing, and verification of high-priority shipments using Fulfillment Workbench, ensuring compliance with carrier selection and service levels. Conduct cycle counts to maintain 99%+ inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies tied to expedited orders. Recommend and implement process improvements to achieve 5–10% annual logistics cost savings, while mentoring team members on fulfillment workflows. Work onsite in a warehouse environment during the 1st shift with no direct reports.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience
- demonstrated experience handling priority or expedited orders
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations
- Strong knowledge of order fulfillment processes
- Strong knowledge of shipping methods
- Proficiency in warehouse systems (WMS/ERP)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
