Job Summary
Loads outbound shipments for customer delivery, inspecting goods for damage and verifying quantities against inspection control plans. Operates forklifts, overhead cranes, and hand tools while maintaining finished goods inventory accuracy and adhering to ISO requirements. Collaborates with receiving and material handling teams to ensure compliance with customer quality standards and United Alloy manufacturing philosophies. Maintains a clean work area and leads training for the shipping coordinator role. This role operates Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, within a manufacturing environment that may involve high noise levels and dust. United Alloy is a preferred designer and manufacturer of certified metal tanks and skids crafted to world-class quality standards for Fortune 500 OEM customers.
Required Qualifications
- Minium 4 years' experience in a shipping Department
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Understands how to manager daily work expectations and goals
- Understands cross check concepts and inspects product according to Inspection Control Plan
- Follows safe manufacturing and material handling practices
- Ability to sustain 95% efficiency
- Can maintain a high level of quality – must not have scrap in excess of $500 per calendar year
- Can inspect and clean equipment
- Must have forklift and material handling experience
- Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills
- Must possess strong attention to detail and be detail oriented
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds with an assist
- Must be able to read and write job numbers
- Must be able to operate a forklift
- Must be able to operate overhead cranes
- Must be able to operate tape measure
- Must be able to operate calipers
- Must be able to operate hand tools
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds with an assist

- Must be familiar with proper packaging methods and reference United Alloy's Master Document system for formal instructions
