Job Summary
Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant responsible for configuring and implementing ServiceNow scoped applications based on user stories, conducting unit testing and deployment, and performing operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting for production ServiceNow applications. Acts as an application subject-matter-expert for the DTech Apps Suite, engages with customers to understand business problems, and collaborates with internal teams to define, design, and implement business solutions. This role operates in a hybrid on-site setting in the Washington DC region and requires DoD clearance, ServiceNow CSA certification, and hands-on experience with ITSM/ITBM, JavaScript (client/server-side), and REST/SOAP/SAML integrations. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- U.S. DoD Secret Clearance or higher
- Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification
- Configuration experience with ServiceNow ITSM or ITBM applications
- Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs (all scripted aspects of the ServiceNow system)
- Experience in designing, configuring and implementing business applications
- Experience in building and enhancing applications through the entire lifecycle (analyze, design, build, test, implement and support)
- On-site at cleared facilities in the Washington DC region on a Hybrid basis at a minimum
- Preferred qualifications include strong software engineering, system design and integration understanding
- Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)
- Experience with ServiceNow client and server-side JavaScript and the ServiceNow APIs
- Scripted Web-Services, AJAX, Business Rules, JavaScript, SOAP, REST SSO-SAML Setup and Integration of ServiceNow to Other Applications
- Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams
- Ability to manage ambiguity and a rapidly changing landscape
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Working knowledge of SDLC concepts and ability to apply that knowledge daily
- Agile experience highly preferred
