Job Summary
Analyze customer requirements and develop solution architecture that maximizes automation and provides operational reporting. Lead development of solution artifacts, including roadmaps, optimization strategies, and block diagrams, while building prototypes and conducting technical reviews. Mentor ServiceNow Developers and provide direction as a Team Lead across ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, and HR modules. Support system architecture design, data integrity for CMDB and asset management, and integration with third-party technologies. Requires 8+ years of ServiceNow experience, AWS Cloud Management Platform knowledge, and a Public Trust clearance. Located in Baltimore, MD, with client site work in Woodlawn, MD.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's and 7 years of experience, Master's and 5 years of experience or 11+ in lieu of a degree
- 8+ years of experience as ServiceNow developer
- Experience with AWS Cloud Management Platform
- Excellent technical leadership skills and initiative to take on additional responsibilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to deliver technical solutions simply and succinctly
- Experience with the US Federal Government
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.
- 8+ years of experience with developing ServiceNow solutions across various platform applications, such as ITSM, ITOM (HAM and SAM), ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, HR
- 5+ years of experience with technical discussions and reviews
- Experience across numerous parts of the ServiceNow platform and experience with commonly integrated third-party technologies
- 5+ years of experience in developing system architecture, design principles, and impacts
- 5+ years of experience supporting IT related data integrity (CMDB, HAM, SAM etc.)
- 5+ years of Industry experience (e.g. Financial Services, Healthcare, High Tech, Manufacturing, Retail, etc.)
- 5+ years of technical leadership experience driving change/solutions
Desired Qualifications
- Additional ServiceNow CIS certification with preference for the following:
- Certified System Administrator (baseline)
- Certified Application Developer (baseline)
- CIS – Customer Service Management
- CIS – IT Service Management
- CIS – Discovery
- CIS – Service Mapping
- CIS – Strategic Portfolio Management
- CIS – Application Portfolio Management
- CIS – Software Asset Management
- CIS – Hardware Asset Management
- Experience with Web development, including technologies such as X-HTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, Angular and JavaScript, PHP, .NET, or Java
- Experience with implementing Java scripting to support automation across the various modules in ServiceNow
- Experience with REST and SOAP web service protocols
- Experience with Business Rules, Workflow, Identification Rules, Workspaces and External Portals
- Knowledge of SAML, Active Directory, or LDAP
- Specialized ServiceNow Developer Certifications, including ITSM, HAM, SAM, ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, TRM/APM or HR
- Project Management or Agile certification
- ITILv4 Foundations Certification
- Ability to work in a high growth, fast paced environment
