Job Summary
As a Sr. Service Technician, you will be responsible for commissioning and performing preventative and corrective maintenance on SolBank Storage Power Block (SPB) and fulfilling obligations under Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA’s) for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The role requires travel to various project sites throughout the US. Candidates must possess experience with BESS or renewable power generation equipment in a service environment and be a Qualified Electrical Technician with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience. Mandatory qualifications include OSHA 30 certification, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office Applications. The position emphasizes a strong commitment to safety, ethics, and sustainability.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Electrical Technician
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a service environment, preferably in renewable energy
- OSHA 30 Certified (OSHA 10 certification is accepted if OSHA 30 is obtained soon after hire)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel to regional locations as needed (over 50% of the time)
- Ability to work successfully both independently and within a team
- Demonstrated professional appearance and conduct
- Great communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities

Desired Qualifications
- Previous training and knowledge of inverters
- SCADA experience
- Knowledge of general and national codes
- Knowledge of medium voltage power systems
- Knowledge of Energy Storage system applications
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Applications (Word, Excel)
- Previous experience with a CMMS software program
- First Aid Trained
