Job Summary
Senior-level field service role providing independent hardware and software support for building automation systems (BAS) including HVAC controls, security, and life-safety systems. Duties include on-site installation and commissioning of system additions and turnkey projects, 24-hour on-call hardware/software service, field troubleshooting of BAS/PLC, HVAC controls and instrumentation, preventive maintenance, software assistance, and coordination with equipment representatives. Requires reading electrical/mechanical drawings and ladder diagrams, strong troubleshooting skills, leadership ability, and a valid Electrical Journeyperson license. Must be able to work a minimum 40 hours/week in Lehigh Valley, PA, with in-person on-site responsibilities and customer-focused communication.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Electrical Journeyperson
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with building automation systems or in a related field
- High school diploma or equivalent; post high school education in related field desirable
