Job Summary
Perform field service engineering on control system products for custom power systems; troubleshoot genset controls, relay calibration, testing, and on-site commissioning. Provide technical assistance to engineers, field personnel, distributors, and customers on power train and automation concerns. Analyze customer proposals and specifications for feasibility, cost, and maintainability. Verify field technician work quality and contribute to service manuals and bulletins. Design service tools for new/existing products and maintain detailed daily activity records. Travel up to 50% to client sites and support multiple power-system applications; specialize in PLCs, communication protocols, and high-voltage equipment testing. Promote compliance with Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct and foster a supportive, innovative work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering
- 5 years of failure analysis and electronic controls service engineering experience or 9 years of experience in the same
- Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
