Job Summary
Senior on-site Sr. Security System Specialist responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting electronic security systems (access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection) with Genetec Security Center. Collaborates with internal teams and vendors to implement security solutions that meet organizational standards and compliance requirements; performs system configuration, troubleshooting, and documentation of procedures to ensure reliable, secure operations and safety across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three years of experience working with access control or surveillance security systems
- Genetec System certification within six months of transfer or hire
- Ability to work rotating shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Strong ability to troubleshoot security systems and coordinate with vendors and IT teams
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
