Sr. Security Engineer -Japanese Bilingual

Job Summary
Analyze client needs and market trends to design customized security solutions and provide technical consultation for IIJ America's primary customers. Manage pre-sales and post-sales projects by coordinating with vendors and internal teams, while conducting comprehensive security assessments and building tailored systems. Build, maintain, and upgrade security technologies including log analysis tools, endpoint security, and network solutions to ensure safe operations. Troubleshoot complex issues across servers, networks, and telephony hardware, providing 24/7 on-call support for critical incidents. Lead junior engineers, maintain project records, and collaborate with Sales & Marketing to implement new cybersecurity products. Promote cybersecurity awareness through seminars and publications. Native Japanese and fluent English required.
Required Qualifications
- Native level in Japanese
- Fluent in English
- Experience and knowledge in security software and solutions for servers and PCs
- Experience and knowledge in security tools such as SASE, EDR, and vulnerability check
- Experience and knowledge in Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) operations
- Experience and knowledge in Secure configuration standards (e.g., CIS Benchmarks)
- Experience and knowledge in Microsoft, Citrix, VMware and other major software vendor's products
- Experience and knowledge in Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto and other major network vendor's devices
- Experience and knowledge in Operation and maintenance of Unix/Linux and Windows servers
- Experience and knowledge in Local and Wide Area Network technologies
- Experience and knowledge in Virtualization and storage technologies
