Sr. Security Engineer, Field Security

Job Summary
Senior Field Security Engineer responsible for customer security interactions, leading security assessments and audits, maintaining the SafeBase Trust Center and other customer-facing assets, and driving security enablement across Sales and Product. Collaborates with Legal, Engineering, and Product to align on assurance efforts; champions responsible AI and automation within field security; develops customer-facing assurance materials and security collateral; supports the sales cycle by addressing security questions, and uses automation to scale workflows and improve responses. Requires 5+ years in customer-facing security roles and familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, trust-center tools, and security documentation. Emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, accuracy, and proactive security posture communication.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in a customer-facing role focused on security
- Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR
- Experience in completing customer security reviews, audits, or assessments
- Proficiency with trust center and security questionnaire tools (e.g., SafeBase and Responsive)
- Ability to articulate complex technical topics to diverse audiences
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and organizational skills
