Job Summary
Sr. SDET at TradeStation responsible for testing complex web applications and Web APIs, creating and executing test plans, building and maintaining automated test suites, and driving quality through CI processes. Responsibilities include testing web apps and RESTful services, documenting defects, participating in code reviews, guiding testability, generating quality metrics, researching emerging test tools, and applying test-driven development and Agile practices. Key skills include JavaScript (browser and NodeJS), C#/.NET, ASP.NET, SQL/NoSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS or Azure, REST/WebSocket, HTTP, GitLab CI/Azure DevOps, and experience with automated testing in a broker/trading platform context. The role emphasizes automation, test planning, and continuous quality improvement, with a collaborative, flexible, and remote-friendly work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years application testing or developing
- Experience with cloud native technologies (AWS or Azure) and Kubernetes is preferred
- Proficiency in JavaScript and Web technologies (HTML, CSS, HTTP, REST)
- Experience with C# and .NET framework
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years application testing or developing
- Cloud experience (AWS or Azure) preferred
- Real-time low latency streaming preferred
