Job Summary
Own and evolve end-to-end test automation strategy across UI, API, and critical workflows for multi-tenant, payer-specific processes. Design scalable E2E frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, or PyTest with TypeScript, while building automated validation for deployment guardrails and production change safety. Partner with Platform, DevOps, and SRE to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, enforce quality gates for blue/green and canary deployments, and reduce flaky tests through AI-assisted analysis. Mentor engineers on automation best practices and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Apply AI tooling to accelerate coverage for high-risk paths including authorization flows, partner integrations, and feature flags.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years in QA Automation, SDET, or test engineering roles supporting production systems
- Strong hands-on experience building automation frameworks for UI and API testing from the ground up, and setting up repeatable datasets
- Experience with regression testing and building test automations from test plans
- Deep experience with modern E2E frameworks (Playwright or Cypress or PyTest) using TypeScript
- Strong API automation experience (REST-based testing frameworks)
- Experience validating cloud-native systems on AWS
- Comfortable working in microservices and event-driven architectures
- Experience testing configuration-driven systems, feature flags, and environment-specific behavior
- Strong debugging skills across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers
- Proven ability to partner with platform / infra teams on release pipelines and deployment safety
Desired Qualifications
- Performance and reliability testing experience (e.g., k6 or similar)
- CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions or similar)
- Healthcare or regulated domain experience
- Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
