Sr. SAP Technical Lead – Solution Architecture & Delivery

Job Summary
Lead design, development, implementation, and maintenance of complex SAP solutions for a Federal Government client, collaborating with business analysts, project managers, and officials to align architectures with strategic goals. Provide technical leadership to a team of developers, overseeing end-to-end project delivery including scoping, planning, resource allocation, and risk assessment. Architect and implement SAP integrations and interfaces with internal and external systems to ensure seamless data exchange, while enforcing quality assurance processes through code reviews and system testing. Build relationships with government stakeholders to manage expectations and address concerns, staying current with SAP technologies to drive innovation and process improvement. This role requires US citizenship, Secret clearance or ability to obtain it, and flexibility to work on-site or remotely in the DC/MD/VA area.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience (8+ years) as a Technical Lead or Solution Architect in SAP implementations
- Experience within the Federal Government sector
- Experience at a Federal Client
- DOD experience
- DHS experience
- Deep knowledge of SAP technologies, including ECC, S/4HANA, SAP NetWeaver, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Fiori, SAP Integration technologies (BPT), and other relevant integration protocols (API, JSON, SFTP)
- Proven experience in leading end-to-end SAP implementation projects, including solution architecture, development, integration, and testing
- Strong expertise in ABAP programming
- Strong expertise in SAP UI technologies
- Strong expertise in SAP data migration tools
- Excellent understanding of enterprise integration patterns
- Excellent understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA)
- Excellent understanding of API management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Certification in relevant SAP modules or technologies
- SAP certification
- SAFe certification
- CSM certification
- Must be US Citizen
- Secret clearance
- Ability to Obtain Secret clearance
- Willingness to work on-site in the DC/MD/VA area
- Willingness to work remotely in the DC/MD/VA area
Desired Qualifications
- Experience at a Federal Client, DOD or DHS experience is preferred
- Certification in relevant SAP modules or technologies is highly desirable
