Job Summary
Senior SAP Developer responsible for design and configuration of SAP applications, upgrades, and improvements across assigned platforms; acts as primary end-user support contact and mentor to junior analysts; leads and documents enhancements, workflows, and integrations; liaises with stakeholders and vendor implementation staff; ensures timely, accurate delivery and continuous improvement in IT practices; requires expertise in SAP S/4HANA, ABAP on HANA, Fiori, BTP, CPI, API-based integrations, and related SAP technologies; applies strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in a cross-functional, matrix environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field; or High School Diploma or GED with 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of experience developing or configuring technology solutions in an application analyst or project delivery role.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and apply industry best practices.
- Strong computer skills including internet navigation and email usage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Demonstrated ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation.
- Preferred: Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA, including ABAP on HANA, object-oriented ABAP, and performance-optimized development; hands-on with CDS views, SQL optimization, and modern ABAP development patterns; experience with SAP RAP and Clean Core–aligned extensibility; proficiency in SAP Fiori development; exposure to S/4HANA upgrades and cloud-based environments; experience with SAP BTP, CPI, and API-based integrations; familiarity with event-driven architectures and API-first design; strong development toolset (Eclipse/ADT); understanding SDLC and enterprise application design.
- Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and enterprise application design.
