Job Summary
Lead and take ownership of all Salesforce programmatic requests, developing SOQL, Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components using REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and platform events. Design scalable solutions across Sales, Service, Consumer Goods, and Marketing Clouds while implementing comprehensive CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or Jenkins to automate deployments and enforce code quality standards. Manage scratch orgs, unit and integration testing, and deployment workflows across dev, staging, and production environments. Integrate Salesforce with external systems via middleware like Boomi and Oracle ERP, translating business requirements into technical specifications and collaborating with internal teams to align development with scope and schedule. Available for on-call work during after-hours and weekends to support production fixes and enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent or proven years of experience
- 8+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of Salesforce platform engineering experience including DevOps practices
- Extensive experience implementing and developing in Apex, LWC, and JavaScript
- Must be organized, able to work independently and in a team environment
- Available for on-call work during after-hours and weekends when needed
- Work in an Agile environment with autonomy and efficiency
Desired Qualifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration for development environments
- Experience working with iPaaS middleware platforms such as Boomi, MuleSoft or Informatica
- Experience integrating with 3rd party APIs
- Advanced Git workflow management and branching strategy implementation
- Monitoring and alerting setup for Salesforce applications and integrations
- Experience working directly with business facing groups outside of development
- Experience working within an Agile team and DevOps culture
