Job Summary
Senior Sales Support coordinates between the sales team and customers to deliver a strong customer experience from onboarding through project completion; provides tools, resources, services, and analysis to enable team members to perform effectively; maintains relationships with supply chain and operations; supports the sales team with customer communication for multi-unit renovation projects; coordinates with order processing, supply chain and operations on timing of cabinet assembly and delivery; creates and processes contracts; ensures contract, pricing tool, and CRM opportunity alignment; coordinates internal/external meetings; develops policies, procedures, training, and testing; uses problem-solving skills to address routine customer service issues via calls, written correspondence, and in-person interactions per company policies; maintains current knowledge of company policies and programs; addresses customer concerns, rectifies errors, and enters customer orders with high accuracy; performs miscellaneous tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales/marketing or a related field or relevant equivalent work experience
- Proven work experience as a Sales support specialist or Sales support associate
- Hands on experience with ERP and CRM systems; Prior experience with SalesForce.com required
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
- In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Need to be flexible to operate with sales team and customer schedule in mind
- Strong customer focus to meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers, acts with customer in mind, and establishes and maintains effective working relationships with customers
- Strong planning skills to accurately scope out length and difficulty of tasks/projects, set objectives and goals, break work down into steps, develop schedules, anticipate and adjust for problems and roadblocks
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to interact with senior management, staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and customers
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
