Sr Sales Exec Public Safety & Law Enforcement

Job Summary
Lead sales efforts in the Public Safety sector by discovering, pursuing, and closing new prospects with State and Local Law Enforcement entities, cities, municipalities, and security companies. Direct the entire sales capture process from initial interaction through purchase order, managing the sales pipeline, forecasting, and presenting updates to leadership via CRM. Actively participate in trade shows, conferences, and customer events to support sales capture, while developing deep product knowledge to present C-UAS solutions. Collaborate with Pre-Sales engineering and business development to execute sales strategies and proposals. Requires a track record in Public Safety markets, ability to work outdoors for demonstrations, and frequent travel (~50%). Based on-site in McLean, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in executing sales campaigns, with a successful sales record in the Public Safety market, with a specific focus on selling commercial products (HW and SW)
- Strong relationships within the Public Safety market, Local and State agencies, and private security companies
- Proven experience in executing sales campaigns, with a successful sales record in selling to Security firms, Public Safety agencies, State and local law enforcement and commercial venues
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong ability to lead sales engagements and meetings
- Ability to work independently, prioritize efforts, and adjust quickly
- Ability to work in outdoor environment for demonstration and customer events which may require lifting of equipment, setting up equipment and travelling with equipment
- Ability to travel frequently (~50%)
- Based in the DC area
