Job Summary
The Sr Sales Engineer at Everbridge will serve as the primary pre-sales technical resource for Account Executives and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. Responsibilities include providing tailored solution demonstrations, facilitating technical sales workshops, and creating specifications for customizations. Candidates must have a strong consultative sales background, experience presenting to C-level audiences, and technical knowledge of software solutions. Skills in solution selling, excellent communication, and relationship building are essential. This role necessitates the ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt presentations based on client needs.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years of experience in enterprise software sales and services in a field facing presales capacity
- Ability to interpret customer needs into solution based demonstrations using discovery and questioning techniques
- Extensive knowledge of Internet hosted applications, highly available architectures, computer security, telephony, and networking
- Technical knowledge with relational data structures, XML/SOAP, middleware architectures, and REST APIs
- Excellent skills in maintaining high productivity in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) to technical and non-technical users
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with solution and consultative/value based selling techniques
- Excellent time management skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce.com and web-based applications
- Ability to dynamically alter technical presentations and discussions based on client needs
- Entrepreneurial spirit and persuasive confidence
