Sr. Sales and Use Tax Accountant

Senior Sales and Use Tax Accountant responsible for multi-state audit defense and compliance with state/local tax laws, managing audits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Part of efforts to mitigate tax liabilities, researching tax issues and supporting due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. Provides technical research for SAP and Vertex tax software, drafts correspondence with state officials, develops efficient processes, and delivers training to internal customers. Encourages continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and accuracy in sales & use tax operations. Requires ability to work remotely and willingness to travel as needed.
