Job Summary
Senior Right of Way Acquisition Agent responsible for researching, negotiating and acquiring land rights, easements, and permits for construction. Manages title and permitting processes, conducts due diligence, and negotiates land transactions; prepares reports and coordinates with landowners, while working in field or office as needed. Requires knowledge of land ownership interests, permits, property valuation, survey drawings, and alignment sheets, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a field-oriented role.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five years of experience in the Right of Way industry
- Excellent working knowledge of applicable laws, rules, regulations, and right of way policies and procedures
- Knowledge of property valuation, survey drawings, and alignment sheets
- Ability to plan and organize workload, adapt to changing priorities, and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to complete right-of-way transactions independently
- Strong oral and written communication skills and customer focus
- Ability to work autonomously and as a team
