Job Summary
Schedule and conduct one-on-one and group seminars for potential and existing participants within the Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Hawaii territory. Serve as a financial resource by providing counseling on defined contribution retirement savings plans to drive sales growth and acquire new small cases. Develop and retain relationships with key entity contacts at the department head level to expand products and services. Assist the Program Director in territory planning, execution strategies, team building, and training on new presentations or policy changes. Act as a team lead for a group of Retirement Specialists, functioning as the primary point of contact for inquiries and troubleshooting problems. Lead special projects related to marketing, customer service, enrollment, and administrative processes for the deferred compensation program. Collaborate with home office teams to solve customer issues and implement actions that improve field processes.
Required Qualifications
- FINRA Series 6 license
- life and health licenses
- Series 63 license
- Series 65 license
- Three years of related experience in financial, sales or educational services functions
- expertise in the private sector business
- knowledge of 401(k) plans
- knowledge of additional financial products/services
- ability to effectively navigate political and economic landscapes to achieve business results
- Comprehension knowledge of annuity and investment products
- ability to effectively communicate product information
- Strong understanding of the competitive landscape
- Proven knowledge of Nationwide Retirement Plans

Desired Qualifications
