Job Summary
Independently perform experiments and record data according to research protocols for mechanistic and translational liver disease studies focusing on MASLD, MASH, and HCC. Maintain and oversee animal colony management, analyze research results, and assist in judging data validity. Solve problems using combined research knowledge and organize data search and analysis procedures. Design complex data processing systems and establish test controls, criteria, and research standards. Accomplish assigned results for projects or significant aspects of larger, complex assignments. May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training
- Three (3) years of relevant experience
- Come with strong experience and expertise in liver research
- Independently perform experiments and record data according to research protocols
- May maintain and oversee animal colony management and animal husbandry
- Solve problems using combined research knowledge
- Analyze research results. Interpret data and assist in judging validity of data
- Organize data search and analysis procedures
- Assist in establishing test controls, criteria and research standards
- Assist with the design of complex data processing systems to analyze research data
- Accomplish assigned results for projects/studies, or for significant aspects of larger, complex assignments
- Serve as seasoned professional
- May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.)
