Job Summary
Lead analyst for the Milds complex, coordinating the regional research function and working with trading/research personnel across the region and Geneva. Develop forecast models to predict coffee consumption, exports, production and farmer behavior; optimize data maintenance processes; produce balance sheets for coffee for the Milds region; maintain hedge matrices tracking price risk from farm to hedger; verify cost of production estimates and model historical time series; propose trading recommendations through analysis of stocks, use, and price time series; act as the lead analyst contributing to strategy development and implementation. Requires advanced Excel and programming knowledge (Python) with SQL, strong data analysis and statistics capabilities, and English proficiency.
