Job Summary
Manage administration of grants and sponsored programs, including reviewing proposal documents, monitoring subawards, and overseeing the full award lifecycle. Ensure compliance with federal, sponsor, and institutional guidelines while implementing current accounting standards and regulatory policies. Proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams and sponsor institutions to resolve complex audit matters and financial issues. Lead development of analytical reports, account reconciliations, and departmental policies to enhance operational efficiency. Identify automation opportunities and contribute to process improvements that strengthen research administration. Maintain regular attendance and support pre-award activities such as budget preparation and submission material reviews as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of experience in grant administration processes as applicable to grants and sponsored programs or accounting experience or related financial information systems
- Experience working with relevant regulations
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Proven performance in earlier role
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance
