Sr. Reliability Test Engineer

Job Summary
The Sr. Reliability Test Engineer will own the development of reliability test profiles and lead execution of reliability tests across vehicle, sub-system, and component levels. Collaborate with product design engineers to meet life targets, conduct reliability calculations, and develop accelerated lifecycle test plans. Lead root cause analysis of test/field failures, support DFMEA sessions, and build in-house test infrastructure. Travel to offsite test locations as needed (<30%). Train personnel on complex test systems, ensure safety protocol compliance, document results for stakeholders, and work with suppliers and cross-functional teams to improve product reliability. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering or Materials Science with 5+ years of reliability experience, hands-on testing of PCBAs/battery/thermal systems, and proficiency with Python or Matlab for data analysis; preferred familiarity with EV powertrain HV devices and data analytics. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Materials Science
- 5+ years of industry experience in reliability
- Experience with reliability calculations and developing test profiles
- Hands-on testing experience with PCBAs, battery, or thermal systems
- Experience with coding languages and data analysis (Python or Matlab)
- Strong technical writing skills for documenting test reports
