Job Summary
Manage an extensive portfolio of complex clients and prospects with annual revenues of $50 million to $2 billion, serving as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor. Acquire, deepen, and maintain profitable relationships through sales, prospecting, and cross-selling opportunities by collaborating with teammates in Investment Banking, Foreign Exchange, and Wealth Management. Analyze financial and cash flow statements to assess company conditions and interpret industry trends while leading dialogues on alternative capital structures and business issues. Coach peers, adapt to market shifts, and facilitate solutions with Product Specialists in Credit and Treasury Management. Requires 10+ years in Commercial Lending or Investment Banking; SIE, Series 7 & 63 licenses required within 180 days.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in Commercial Lending or Investment Banking
- Ability to successfully manage an extensive portfolio of clients
- Proven track record of prospecting new business, enhancing existing relationships and closing profitable transactions
- Professional proven sales skills and experience, including planning, execution and follow up of client meetings
- Strong corporate finance, capital markets and accounting acumen
- Financial modeling experience
- Completion of a formal credit training
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Capability to organize, facilitate, lead and negotiate with a team of bank associates to solve client problems
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) license
- Series 7 license
- Series 63 license
- Obtain SIE, Series 7 & 63 license within 180 days of start date
- Undergraduate degree
- Major in business, finance or economics
- MBA
