Job Summary
Manage a base of sophisticated wealth management clients by developing thorough understandings of their needs and goals through direct conversations. Provide proactive, advice-driven solutions on NT products, emerging issues, and regulatory changes while explaining complex concepts using non-technical terminology. Maintain extensive knowledge of fiduciary standards, trust law, and tax regulations to identify relationship enhancement opportunities and manage prudent risk. Cultivate relationships with referral sources and external advisors to build new business, while traveling to meet clients where appropriate. Mentor less experienced partners, serve as a subject matter expert on fiduciary issues, and exercise judgment to identify innovative solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of fiduciary and financial products and services
- Specific experience with fiduciary accounts and issues
- Technical knowledge of investments, tax, legal, and operations
- Extensive knowledge of fiduciary standards, principles, and applicable laws and regulations
- Skills in negotiating, problem solving, delegating, leadership, and sales
- Leadership and organizational skills
- College or university degree
- Relevant proven work experience
- JD or similar credential
- 12-15 years' experience as a relationship manager or attorney in trust administration, estate administration, estate planning, or related fields
- Eligible to serve as LRM for all relationships
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship
