Sr. Regulatory Manager, Regulatory Intelligence & Policy

Job Summary
Monitor, capture, and assess regulatory and policy developments across Corporate Regulatory Affairs' remit using risk-based criteria to determine business impact and priority. Translate complex regulatory information into actionable intelligence, coordinate its dissemination through governance channels, and maintain dashboards to support enterprise decision-making. Evaluate regulatory intelligence tools and external information providers to enhance capability and insight generation. Synthesize insights from regulatory agencies, industry associations, and policy forums to prepare briefing materials and support senior external interactions. Identify emerging risks and trends to inform strategic planning and business reviews while partnering with Business Q&RA and Government Relations to ensure enterprise alignment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years' related experience, or an advanced degree with 6 years' related experience
- Experience in regulatory intelligence, regulatory affairs, regulatory policy, government affairs, public policy or a related discipline within a global organisation
- Demonstrated experience monitoring, assessing and communicating regulatory developments and their potential business impact
- Strong understanding of regulatory intelligence principles, methodologies and information sources
- Strong digital mindset, including experience using technology, AI-enabled tools or data-driven approaches to improve information management, analysis and decision-making
- Experience analysing complex regulatory, legislative or policy developments and translating implications into practical business insights
- Experience working effectively across functions and stakeholders in a matrix environment
- Strong analytical skills and sound judgement in assessing regulatory significance, business impact and prioritisation
- Experience preparing briefing materials, analyses, presentations or written communications for management audiences
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex information
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a dynamic environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline such as life sciences, chemistry, biology, engineering, regulatory affairs, law, public policy, environmental science or a related field
- Regional and international travel

- Experience with industry associations, regulatory agencies or policy forums preferred
- Advanced degree, regulatory certification or relevant professional credential preferred
