Job Summary
Regulatory Engineer on the Global R&D team focused on ensuring products meet FM, ATEX, and CE standards across development and lifecycle. Collaborates with product, mechanical, electrical, and software engineering to integrate regulatory requirements from concept to release; develops regulatory compliance plans, certification strategies, and risk assessments; serves as primary interface with certification bodies and labs; prepares regulatory documentation; conducts regulatory reviews and ongoing monitoring; provides training on regulatory requirements and supports audits. Requires Bachelor's degree in engineering, 3–5 years in regulated engineering roles, knowledge of FM, ATEX, CE, and willingness to travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a regulatory role for engineered products or systems
- Working knowledge of FM, ATEX, and CE certification processes and requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in regulatory software tools and electronic submission processes
- Detail-oriented with strong technical writing skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally, including international travel if required
