Job Summary
The Senior Regulatory & Compliance Engineer at Nice North America is responsible for overseeing product regulatory compliance across multiple product lines, including security and automation systems. This role involves interpreting regulatory standards, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating certification activities with testing laboratories. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience, including knowledge of safety certifications and effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. The position requires a proactive approach to compliance management and the ability to maintain regulatory certifications throughout the product lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in product regulatory compliance, certification, or safety engineering
- Knowledge of applicable safety and regulatory certifications (e.g., UL, FCC, ISED, NRTLs)
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and apply agency standards and translate them into engineering requirements
- Experience supporting products through development, certification, production, and sustaining phases
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to operate independently
