Sr. Real Estate Paralegal

Job Summary
Assist attorneys with all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing. Prepare, review, and organize legal documents such as contracts, deeds, leases, closing statements, and loan documents. Conduct title, survey, and zoning reviews; identify issues and work with attorneys to resolve them. Coordinate and manage real estate closings, including drafting checklists, scheduling meetings, and ensuring necessary documents are in place. Communicate with clients, title companies, surveyors, lenders, and other third parties involved in transactions. Perform due diligence, including reviewing public records, obtaining UCC searches, and ordering title commitments and policies. Maintain and organize files, ensuring accurate and timely filing of documents with appropriate authorities. Provide general administrative support to attorneys as needed in real estate matters.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a paralegal, with a strong focus on commercial real estate transactions
- Proficiency in title and survey review
- Knowledge of closing procedures
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and real estate management software
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program
