Job Summary
Senior Lead Software Engineer in JPMorganChase Equities Sales and Trading Technology drives an agile team to build and deliver secure, scalable technology products. You will provide technical guidance to business and technical teams, develop secure production code, review others' code, influence product design and operations, serve as a subject matter expert, contribute to engineering SDLC practices, advocate firmwide frameworks and tools, drive adoption of leading-edge technologies, and foster a culture of diversity and inclusion.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years of applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Advanced in one or more programming language(s)
- Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
- Practical cloud native experience
- Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
